James Meadows joined Manitou in 2015 and is Manitou’s Chief Operations Officer overseeing all facets of operations including client administration, trading, fund accounting and systems management. James is also a member of Manitou’s Executive Team. He began his career at Ernst & Young in 1996 and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant, CA in 1999. He spent eight years at Burgundy Asset Management Ltd. where he focused on operations, compliance and fund accounting including serving as Vice President, responsible for the Canadian operations. James spent four years at AGF Investment Inc. as Vice President of Investment Administration overseeing investment management analytics, quality assurance and best practices. James received his Honours BA degree from the Richard Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario.
