Pat Brooker

Pat Brooker, BBA, CPA, CA

Partner

Pat is a general practice partner at Arcadia and has over thirty years of experience in accounting for businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Pat leads our team of auditors and ensures we are consistently up to date with the ever-changing accounting and assurance standards. He is a File Quality Control partner for our larger clients.

Pat graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University. In addition to his time in public practice, Pat has worked in the private sector as a business owner, which enables him to offer practical business consulting advice. He especially enjoys working with small business owner-managers.

Pat spends most of his time out of the office with his spouse, Nancy and their three sons. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and being active. He is also an avid sports fans counting the Blue Jays, Raptors, Argonauts, Leafs and his original hometown team the Cleveland Browns as his favourite teams.

Greg Kloepfer

Greg is a general practice partner at Arcadia and enjoys working with clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including real estate and construction, professional services, manufacturing, automotive, charitable and not-for-profit organizations.

A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Greg earned his Diploma in Accounting there.

Outside of work, Greg enjoys playing soccer, improving his golf game, and spending quality time with his wife, Andge, and their family.
 

Tim Lopinski

Tim Lopinski, BBA, CPA, CA, CFP

Partner

Tim is a general practice partner at Arcadia and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm, with a focus on taxation. Tim strives to learn the unique features of each organization to build long lasting relationships while providing practical advice to clients across a wide range of industries in both the business and not-for-profit sectors. Tim grew up in an entrepreneurial household, where from a young age, he learned the ropes doing invoicing, payroll and bookkeeping for his father’s contracting business. Tim has since carried this passion for business and accounting into his career as a CPA.

Tim graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University and has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Taxation Course. He is responsible for ensuring the latest changes in the world of taxation are considered for all Arcadia LLP’s clients.

During his spare time, Tim enjoys travelling, cooking, attending concerts and spending time with his wife Stephanie and their family. He can also be found on the ice playing hockey, or at the gym participating in group fitness “boot camp” style workouts.

Ashley Beam

Ashley Beam, BBA, CPA

Manager

Ashley is a graduate of Conestoga College’s Accounting, Audit, and Information Technology program and has been a valued member of Arcadia since 2014, initially joining as a co-op student.

With over a decade of experience, Ashley specializes in providing accounting and taxation services for both personal and corporate clients across a wide range of industries. At the firm, she applies her strong IT expertise to streamline and optimize internal business processes. Additionally, Ashley is a graduate of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program, which has allowed her to better serve our clients with overall tax strategy and planning.

Outside of the office, Ashley loves sporty cars, cooking, hiking, lifting weights, and spending time with her husband Daniel and their furry family of a dog and two cats.

Nancy Brooker

Manager

Nancy joined the firm in October of 2019. She comes to us with almost 30 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.

Nancy is also a certified Master Life Coach specializing in relationships and working with women.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband Pat (yes that’s him at the top of the page), their three boys, family and friends. She is a lifelong learner and enjoys being active and healthy.

She is in pursuit of her Financial Planning designation and has a passion for educating and supporting clients to make informed decisions as they strive to reach their goals.

In her spare time, Kelly enjoys golfing, gardening, travelling with her husband and spending time with family and friends.

Dee is the first point of contact at Arcadia, welcoming clients with warmth and professionalism. Proudly born and raised in Guelph and a University of Guelph Bachelor of Commerce graduate, she brings a strong client-service mindset and business background to her role.

As the former owner and operator of a beloved downtown Guelph panini shop for eight years, Dee developed a deep appreciation for exceptional customer experiences and ensuring every interaction reflects the care and clarity Arcadia stands for.

Outside of work, Dee enjoys getting creative in the kitchen, solving puzzles, and staying active through frisbee, pickleball, and volleyball. She also loves spending time with her partner, family, and dog, making the most of everything the Guelph community has to offer.

Karen has over a decade of experience in various administrative roles in public accounting. She is passionate about learning new programs and procedures and working closely with her team to make a meaningful impact within the organization.

Karen thrives on routines; outside of work, Karen enjoys walking her dog, cooking as the sous chef for family meals, and exploring local neighbourhoods with her husband, Rob. She loves unwinding at the cottage through fishing and spending time with family and friends. Karen is also a dedicated Jays baseball fan, always trying to squeeze a game in where she can.

Philip Muszynski

Philip joined Arcadia after earning his Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and completing the Graduate Diploma in Accounting Program. He plans to pursue his CPA designation. His academic background, combined with hands-on experience in accounting, has honed his analytical skills and attention to detail.

Outside of work, Philip enjoys staying active through soccer, tennis, and swimming. A competitive chess player and avid fisherman, he enjoys exploring the Kawartha Lakes area. He values time with family and friends, whether hiking, camping, or travelling—his adventures have taken him across Europe and Canada.

Melissa joined our team in 2023 and became a manager in 2024. With over 15 years of experience in public accounting and industry, Melissa has built a strong foundation of expertise which allows her to work with clients on year-end compilations, personal and corporate tax, and assist with bookkeeping to deliver accurate and timely results. She graduated with a Business Administrative Accounting Diploma from Conestoga College.

In Melissa’s free time, she loves to travel, swim, have dance parties and most importantly spend time outdoors with her spouse, Jeff, and son, Jaxon.

Amanda brings over thirty years  of extensive experience in accounting and bookkeeping, having worked in both the public and private sectors. With a Business Administrative Accounting Diploma from Conestoga College, she has developed a strong foundation in financial management and has contributed to a variety of industries throughout her career. Amanda’s expertise spans everything from day-to-day bookkeeping to complex financial reporting, making her a valuable asset to the team.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Amanda is dedicated to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new travel destinations, horseback riding, and immersing herself in books.

Isabela Tomaszewicz

Accountant

Isabela joined the Arcadia team in 2020 and brings with her over a decade of experience in public accounting for small and medium sized businesses. She is a payroll specialist and enjoys helping our clients with payroll related questions and other accounting and tax matters.

In her spare time, Isabela enjoys lounging by the pool with her family and regatta competitions with her sister.

Ben is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in accounting. After growing up around the office, he officially joined the team in 2022 as office manager.

In this role, Ben oversees various internal operations, including finances, staff support, and IT systems, ensuring the office runs efficiently and staff have what they need to succeed.

Outside of work, Ben can often be found at the hockey arena, gym, or spending quality time with his friends and family.

Alex is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a Sociology degree. Before joining the team, Alex assisted her father in running their family’s market in Guelph for 10 years, gaining valuable experience in operations and customer service.

In her role, Alex wears many hats and goes far beyond the traditional Executive Assistant duties. While she’s integral in sending tax returns and client documents, she also plays a key role in onboarding, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and well-prepared. Additionally, Alex is a driving force behind company culture, actively organizing staff events and celebrations as part of the Social Committee.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys collecting classic rock vinyl, travelling and spending quality time with her large extended family, creating lasting memories together.

Kelly is a Wealth Management Administrator at Arcadia Wealth Management where she supports clients and advisors by coordinating day-to-day operations, organizing financial documents, and helping deliver a seamless, personalized planning experience. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and genuine care for both clients and colleagues.

With a background in Psychology and Family and Child Studies from the University of Guelph, Kelly brings a strong understanding of human behavior and communication to her role. Enabling her to support clients in a thoughtful, empathetic, and personalized way. Blending her background in psychology with a genuine interest in financial planning, Kelly found her stride in a role that lets her help others navigate important life decisions.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys cooking, growing her never-ending to-read list, exploring local trails with her dog, and competing in cattle shows across North America with her family.

Breann Zilkey

Breann Zilkey, CPA

Manager

Breann is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Business Management Degree and successfully completed the CFE in 2024 and will be obtaining her CPA designation in 2025 . She is a senior accountant, who plays a key role in managing corporate year-ends and personal tax returns for clients, while also handling assurance work. In addition to her technical expertise, she leads a team of junior accountants and co-op students, providing training and mentorship to new hires. Her guidance helps ensure the professional growth of our team while maintaining a high standard of service for clients.

Breann enjoys spending time outside the office with friends and family. While she enjoys travelling, she also makes the most of all weather conditions Canada has to offer! In the summer you can find her at the beach or beside the pool with a good book. And in the winter months, you can find her on the ski hills.
