Stewart Burton is a former Vice Chairman of RBC Capital Markets and was a member of the Global Operating Committee before retiring in 2023. Prior to joining the Corporate Finance Department of RBC Capital Markets in 1986, Stewart spent three years with Ernst and Young. Stewart is the Honorary Colonel of the 450 Tactical Helicopter Squadron in Petawawa, Ontario, a former Director of the Canadian Opera Company and a Director of Russell Metals. Stewart is a CPA, CA and holds an HBA from the Ivey Business School and an MBA from Harvard University Business School.
